The inland bearded dragon, Pogona vitticeps, is a popular pet lizard in the United States. This diurnal agamid continues to increase in popularity because it is easy to handle, care for, and breed in captivity. Unfortunately, little pictorial documentation is available regarding normal comparative clinical hematologic morphology of commonly seen reptiles, especially lizards. This section intends to review clinical morphology with intent to differentiate commonly seen white blood cells of the bearded dragon.
